Kindergarten Favorites Pictures-A Wonderful Keepsake!!

So, I posted this little picture yesterday on my personal Facebook page and on my Little Warriors Fan page and people just went crazy over it 🙂 So, I thought it deserved it’s own post.
I made these cute little “Kindergarten Favorites” pictures to print out and give to each one of my kiddos. But, since I have shared it, I’ve had MANY people say that they are using it for their end of the year slideshows and as pages in their scrapbooks. Whatever you use them for, parents are sure to LOVE them. They will be one of those things that are treasured forever!

To make these, it’s pretty simple. First, you will need a brick wall. Help them pose and take their picture 🙂 Then, you will need to ask your kinders some questions. You can grab my little question sheet by clicking on the image below. OR you can come up with some favorites questions of your own 🙂
Now, to create 🙂 I made these in PowerPoint. Just insert your picture and drag the edges to make it larger to cover the entire page. Insert a textbox on top of the image. Type your text in.
Here are the Fonts that I used.  Click on the image below to go to Kimberly Geswin’s Store and grab her fonts for FREE 🙂

I got special permission from some of the parents of my students to share their adorable pictures with you-so, that you could see just how cute they turned out!!!!!!!!!! 😉

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I got busy on them the very next day and LOVE them!! Had to figure out how to increase the resolution size when saving them as a jpeg from Powerpoint. I googled it and did exactly what they said, then sent a test print to Costco Photo to make sure they weren't pixellated and they weren't! So, I'm printing them as a 5×7 pic at Costco (39 cents each!) and putting them in a simple frame….so so so in love! Thank you for your BRILLIANCE!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂 Lisa

How did you get them to work? I printed my at walgreens and they came out blurry. When I googled it people said that is how powerpoint works, when you save as a jpeg it changes the resolution. This is so FRUSTRATING!!!

Hi girls! Google is your friend! 🙂 Here is the link that I found for saving in higher quality. Click on "file", then "options", click on "advanced" then click the box that says "do not compress images in the file". That's all.

Love it! It's such a cute idea! Do you recall what size font you used for the the child's name, 'kindergarten favorites' and each favorite?
How did you get 'Kindergarten favorites' to outline with white and a different color?
    Thanks for your help!!

I was so fortunate to be able to do an in-person r I was so fortunate to be able to do an in-person reading at a local school!! This little girl made such an impression on me!!! The kids That had ordered a book from me were invited to come down and have it signed. This little girl waited at the end of the line. When everyone was finished, she handed me a crumbled up sticky note. She was so excited to meet a “real author” and very humbly told me that she wasn’t able to order a book, but was wondering if I would sign the post-it for her. 😭😭😭😭😭 Well, of course I pulled out a book and bookmark, signed both and gave them to her. 💙💙💙💙 Im forever grateful that the principal captured this picture!
