We are who we are due to our lives and our experie We are who we are due to our lives and our experiences. You have not experienced what I have, and I have not experienced what you have. Sometimes it’s not fair. I understand that. I PROMISE you...you will be a BETTER person by talking to people who are NOT like you!!! And they will be better to know and learn from you. You’re not going to change someone’s mind with one comment, or one conversation. But, I promise that the conversation WILL make a difference. Different perspectives help us grow and learn. We are educators, y’all!!!! The name-calling and tit for tat comments have to stop. Judging someone and treating someone horribly without talking to them about their perspective says A LOT about who YOU are. (I’m sure I’ll be called plenty of names over this post. And I’m sure people will twist my words into whatever they want them to be. I’m ok with that. Im FAR from perfect and all-knowing. I’m tired of worrying and I’m tired of people being MEAN.) If you truly want to make a difference, BE THE EDUCATOR YOU CLAIM TO BE.) That is all.
Before I even knew what happened I was saying “H Before I even knew what happened I was saying “How?” How does this happen with no shots fired?! Our president tweets “Remember this day forever.” Yes. Let’s!!! Will this make it into our History books?? Disgusting. I’m in tears seeing where our Nation is at right now.
